I wish ZERO stars was an option. I ordered from Hawkers through Seamless today - November 1, 2018. RACIST RESTAURANT IN EAST VILLAGE!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I was verbally abused, the delivery man became belligerent over the fact that I didn't give him a cash tip. It was an embarrassing and borderline frightening predicament. He was violently aggressive, making a scene in my workplace, got in my face, yelled at the top of his lungs, and made racist comments. We called security, and in the mean time, I looked for something to defend myself. I manage the community health education program for a non-profit organization in Chelsea, and I was utterly disgusted. I will NEVER be ordering from them again. The entire work environment was disrupted and people felt threatened. It was truly a fight or flight moment, especially when someone outside of the organization, who is perceived as a non-threat, becomes a threat, and destroys the peace. I want this restaurant to be held accountable. My wallet went missing this morning, and I only had access to online transactions today. I only had a few dollars of physical cash. When I remembered that I had some more, I considered getting change from our receptionist, but when he started yelling, I turned around, and tried to minimize the situation. He insisted on me speaking with his manager, and when I did, she was upset that I didn't give him a tip, and that he was coming from the East Side. 1. I didn't check the location; I just needed something quick. 2. That is HORRIFIC customer service, for me to be attacked for not giving a tip, without me having the free will. 3. What ever happened to: if it's too far, we don't come?! I understand the frustrations of being an employee, who really makes their living off of tips. HOWEVER, that behavior is totally UNACCEPTABLE!!! I am a first generation American. I come from a family of immigrants, and I KNOW the value of hard work. So for someone to look at me, not knowing my status, but to say "You no good", while making gestures to my skin color, was grounds for exposure. A bad review isn't good enough. THE WORLD needs to know that people of color are NOT inferior; we never were, and we never will be! I graduated high school, college, received my masters and I am currently pursuing my doctorate. If a delivery driver can look at me, shamelessly beg yet insult simultaneously, and say I and/or WE are "no good", when so many of US fight daily to bring justice to EVERY community and WE have the education, field experience, salary and ethics to back us up, I don't know what good is!

This place is posing as The Loop and taking orders on Seamless. Horrible Food and a complete Scam!

Great sushi here and the drinks are cheap. The service is quick and you feel like your the only one there even if it's packed.

Absolutely lousy food. I cannot believe the standard in this restaurant. Pad thai wasnt pad thai and my son refused to even sit next to it because it was smelling so Weird. Green curry was a watered down version. Never again.
